Rekerdres & Associates began in 1986 with a premium volume of about $300,000 to a premium volume in excess of $10 million in 2003, with a continued upward trend. The agency principal has been in the business since his late teens. Raised in an “insurance home”, Craig obtained his temporary license while in high school and majored in finance and insurance in college. Subsequent work in England for Lloyds of London led to a broader view of risk management and loss prevention.
The Rekerdres name has been connected with commercial insurance for almost 40 years. Under his father’s direction, Craig learned firsthand the value of understanding the client’s needs, developing a program around those needs and supporting that program with uncompromising service.
Presently the agency is enjoying another year of steady growth in a market that is showing a tightening trend and holding steady on premiums in order to retain clients.
